Have questions? We have answers.
But, if for some reason we don’t have the answer to the question you have, please feel free to send me a message and we’ll get right back to you!
How far in advance should I book a session?
To lock in your ideal date, I recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. Last-minute bookings are welcome if I have availability.
How long does it take to get my photos?
You’ll typically receive your edited images within 14 days. I’ll always keep you updated on the timeline.
Can you rush my photos?
Of course! I will get your photos done as soon as possible without a rush, but if you need them sooner, please let me know. I’m happy to offer a 72 hour turnaround for $250.
How do I receive my photos?
All final images are delivered via an online gallery where you can download & share your photos.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens – I get it! Just give me as much notice as possible. The retainer fee is non-refundable, but we can reschedule based on availability and find something that works.
What should I wear for my shoot?
I’ll send over a style guide to help you prep! Neutrals and solid colors photograph beautifully, but most importantly – wear what makes you feel confident.
Do you retouch the photos?
Yes – all delivered images include light retouching (think skin smoothing, color correction, and blemish removal). More extensive edits can be done upon request but may be subject to an extra fee.
Can I bring someone with me to the session?
Of course! Bring a hype person, a partner, or even your pet – whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
In the event of rain, we’ll reschedule for another date that works with both of us. If it’s cloudy, we’ll still continue with the photoshoot as planned.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! I offer mini sessions seasonally or during special events. Keep an eye on my social media or sign up for my newsletter to get first dibs!
How should we prepare for our session?
We will provide you with a preparation sheet before your appointment! But to sum things up-
For young children: try to make sure they’re well-rested and have had a snack or meal beforehand. Feel free to bring along a few small (non-messy!) treats as motivation or a quick pick-me-up during the shoot.
For everyone else: Plan outfits ahead of time – coordinate, don’t match. Choose colors and styles that complement each other. Haircuts, clean nails, light makeup (if you wear it), and tidy facial hair go a long way. Bring a hairbrush, blotting paper, or lip balm for quick touch-ups. Bring a favorite toy or comfort item if it helps your child feel more at ease.
What if I don’t want my families photos online?
I am happy to accommodate your privacy request, just let me know so I can make revisions to our contract.
